RSM International has retained its position as the sixth largest global network in the annual ranking of international accounting networks compiled and released by International Accounting Bulletin.

The network, which moved up to sixth place last year, maintained its ranking on the back of flat growth and US$3.9 billion revenues.

Jean Stephens, CEO, RSM International said: “The most important thing is that member firms are offering the highest level of expertise to their clients and helping them achieve their ambitions. The rankings are great but we are nothing without our people and our clients. This is where our true strength lies.” Jean continued “Our focus remains on providing the highest level of quality service to our clients.

RSM International has recently admitted member firms in Czech Republic, Oman, Bahrain and Italy, and in the later part of last year added new member firms in Tunisia and Brazil.
Arvind Hickman, Editor, International Accounting Bulletin, said “Global accounting firms have made a steady recovery in the past year following the horrific 2008/9 fiscal year, where any revenue growth was a cause for celebration.”
